Fiber losses significantly reduced with PGA iFIBER at Kyiv CPM

PGA Anlagenbau, a member of the IBS Paper Performance Group, celebrates the successful start-up of its iFIBER system at Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, Ukraine. Immediately after commissioning, the fiber yield in the screening section was increased by 20 %.

The patented iFIBER systems prepare fiber suspensions with an extremely high degree of homogeneity. This also solved the problem of regularly clogged screens. In the currently challenging times in Ukraine, Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill's investment is a strong signal.

iFIBER systems are especially designed to increase the efficiency of existing screening plants in waste paper-based stock preparations. The patented solution significantly increases the fiber yield and decreases at the same time the sludge reject. iFIBER systems are easy to install with low maintenance costs.
