Felt-Xtender

For efficient felt cleaning and conditioning, and to maintain the absorbency of the felt, both the surface contamination and the particles inside the felt have to be removed. Due to the relative movement between the felt and the cleaning jet, plus the special felt designs, this can only be achieved with different water jet angles.

The James Ross Felt-Xtender enables the mill to set high-pressure showers to two different jet angles, automatically time controlled without any manual effort required. This results in different types and depths of cleaning/conditioning of the felt and extends its lifetime.
