Application engineer (m/f/d)

What you offer

• Interest in understanding complex technical systems / plants in their entirety (here: paper machines). This includes: Mechanics, image acquisition, sensor and evaluation software, etc.
• You have completed a relevant degree in process engineering / physics / mechanical engineering / electrical engineering or similar, or you are about to graduate. Alternatively: A BSc degree or HTL degree is also ok if you already want to enter the professional world.
• You are able to communicate (also with customers)
• You are willing to learn and receptive and have a good appearance
• English spoken and written
• Willingness to travel (for commissioning)

Your activities

• Setup, adjustment and operation of sensors (mainly cameras)
• Recording and evaluation of data
• Support in the creation of image processing or AI models (incl. tests) and optimizations
• Commissioning of sensor systems on paper machines incl. remote maintenance

• Development of suggestions for improvement at every point of the system chain
