Mechanical Design Engineer

IBS Paper Performance Group is an internationally recognized leader in the custom design and fabrication of paper machine equipment. Worldwide demand for our products has created interesting openings at our Chesapeake, Virginia location.

Do you have what it takes to work with our Applications Engineers and Production Team to create customer and manufacturing drawings? This position includes an occasional field trip to obtain machine dimensions and measure up information.

Requirements for Applying

• Mechanical Engineering Degree/Mechanical Technologist Diploma.
• Background in Metal Fabrication and Custom Build Machinery preferred.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years 3D Design Experience including 2D shop drawings.
• Knowledge of Pulp & Paper equipment is an asset.
• Strong Eye-for-Detail, Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills.
